Guitar Licks in the Style of “The Thrill is Gone” by BB King

Hey, how’s it going this is Jon McLennon with Guitar Control, I want to show you a few guitar licks in the style of BB King and this is from the song called  “The Thrill is Gone”.

Click on the Tabs button to follow chords and tabs.

It’s a great slow blues in B minor, he goes up here that’s 7, 10 with a slight bend back to 7 then to 10, on the 2nd string I use my second finger and play 9 on the 3rd string bend it up a whole step and then you go 7 then you go back up 7, 9 with a bend and then swish your first finger down across the 7th fret covering the 1st and 2nd strings and to give more of a BD sound.

I recommend hammering all the notes with a down stroke then the last lick is just a bend with your third finger on the 10th fret of the 1st string whole step back down and then to the 7th fret. I hope you enjoyed those few licks from the king of the blues and don’t forget to subscribe on our You Tube Channel and we’ll see you in our next video lessons, thanks for watching.
