hi! i recently purchased “secrets of the jam masters” and started getting into it and was really enjoying untill i ran into a bit of a snag. i am having a very difficult time trying to sort out how the printed pages (tab) correspond to what is happening in the video(s), they are not numbered or anything and since not every single lick that he plays is tabbed out – and since it appears that pages do not just go in the order as they appear in the file this has caused some confusion. im hoping you can clarify so i can continue enjoying this great product. thank you!
contact http://www.GuitarControlHelp.com, open a ticket, and one of our agents/ guitar experts will get back to you. Thanks!
Great Sound Claude. I would really like to see some Robin Trower who is just incredible to see play Live
Alot of his stuff is pretty much advanced being a trio but on For Earth Below A Fine Day is a good song and he uses lots of difficult chords in Day of the Eagle but Lady Love which is one of his favorites and mine is very playable until the lead. I plan on seeing him as many times as he comes back to Dallas. Seen him 19 times. Seen Jeff Beck 4 times and he always steals the show. Seen him with Eric and Page
and Clapton was great but Beck was and is King in my Book. I’ve got some of your corses and there great. Keep Rockin Claude. The very best to you, David Mackie
How do we sign up to win equipment?
The answer to the riddle is SLASH
Slash is the answer, your site won’t post my comment or let me login!
There we go, the blog page would not post comments.
I recently purchased the six dvd set of Bass Zone Formulas. Which is the first dvd to watch? I was expecting to start at the beginning. I watched two dvds and they are geared more to a bass player who actually know notes and chords. I’m a beginner. I get emails from Guitar Control and I see nothing about playing bass guitar. Would love to learn to play. Please get me going in the right direction!
YOU PROBABLY NEED TO ALSO GET BASS MADE SIMPLE.. I’LL HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE CONTACT YOU! – CLAUDE
I concur with the customer support. The Bass Zone formulas are for helping existing Bass players learn different techniques for different styles of play. I would get the course they recommend to get you up to speed, then you’ll enjoy the Bass Zone formululas
I like David wallerman currently with a competitor, jam play, found his video on intervals and scales very informative, easy to follow, perhaps you could steal him for this fall.
I was wondering if you have some deep delta blue lesson you offer. Thanks Michael

Hey Claude I’d like you to check out Aleks Sever. She has a video on youtube..man, she smokes!! It was pointed to me by Jason Becker, A noted shredder. He has some kill butt videos too. Check them out and enjoy!!
everyone is selling easy modes videos/lessons/courses etc. but after demoing a major/minor scale they all show off their flashy licks but I’m getting very confused by all these courses. As I see it the major scale has one scale and several box shapes and as you move down the boxes (starting with the root on the 6th string) as these boxes overlap you get the shapes for (I) {D)on’t {P)lay {L}ike {M}y {A}unt {L)inda so once you know the boxes each box is one of the modes and all you have to do is use the proper box shape starting on the proper note and you will know where a A, B, C etc. (D)oran is.or the Ionian/Aolean etc.like Phrigian is basiclly the open cowboy box
Am I really confused here, or is it that simple?
SEEING IT AS ONE SCALE IS A WAY TO SEE IT BUT THERE’S DEEPER WAYS TO USE MODES – CHECK OUT MY MODES WEBINAR INSIDE THE GUITAR GOD CLUB – CLAUDE

Hi guys,….Just wondering if you guys may simply give some good advice about what you’ve found in
regards to checking out the real intonation method checks of a given fretted neck and selected SCALE
length of the Open Strings,…which can sometimes be found in Error on certain models of Guitars.
It’s probably not such a big deal anymore,….but through the 1960’s and 1970’s, one could easily find
many cheaper Guitar models which simply Could NOT be tuned properly.
Sure,…some of these ills can be partially corrected by in some cases repositioning the bridge,….
changing the actions and what have you,…but I Think that a few good warnings should go out to Guitar
Players,.. who are looking for a Good Guitar, that if you cannot tune it with New Strings or getting the
action setup correctly, then you need to actually measure the open scale and MEASURE the Fret
spacings to find out IF that Neck simply EVER had the correct fret spacing to start with.
I’ve run into more than a few of these types and the main thing is that when any KID is down on his
bucks,..and Experience, they will still pickup a piece of CRAP, and then be wondering why his very sensitive
hearing is telling him that indeed the New guita,r he just spend good money on,…is a something of
which cannot be critically tuned EVER,…and that it may easily lead to turning OFF what should have
been a very good guitar player’s progress ! And yes,…that’s why I got involved with Guitar Modifications, Scale Checks, nut and bridge making with new Engineering Materials , neck re-bedings/fretting/truss rod adjusts and all the Electronics over the years, including both Tube and
Solid State amplifier design, Aided from Real Engineers from Tektronix etc..

So what makes your DVD’s better than say Marty Schwartz,Collin Daniels,Papastache etc

Hey Claude, I’ve been playing now for a couple of years and your beginners video was realy helpfull to start me off. I’ve been wondering if you take requests. I’ve been trying to figure out how to play a song for a bit now and I just can’t quite get it. I’ve seen it tabbed a couple differing ways and the seem just a bit off and I was wondering if you could post a video and help a fella and (fellow Rhode Islander) out the song is juniors instrumental off of the chulahoma album by the black keys. Thanks in advance if you can get around to it.

I talked 2 a lovely woman named Mary , this is my second month in the club & I love It . My only problem is last year I was in a major accident which unfortunately srewed with the coordination as much as the memory . Is there any possible way I can get as much of the lessons in tab ? 1 or2 good look thrus of the tab does more fore me than watching 100 videos . I would gladly pay xtra so that I may get as much as possible from each lesson . Thank u 4 your time & I am anxiously awaiting your reply, Randy Kelleher [email protected]
I am unable to access your site via the emails you send out. One of them said that your site had been hacked and that everything was fixed but I still can’t get access. The difference appears to be that one address is http://www.guitarcontrol.com and the other is http://www.guitar-control.com. Which is the correct one? I am due to change my email address so I have also tried to register as a new user and it says there is no server available to accept the request. Bizarre!
Hi Mike, sorry about that.. We are dealing with another attack, hopefully it will be working again soon. Regards.
I thought it was verry imformated and easy to follow. Loved the head camcorder nice touch.Looking forward to more insites.

Hi Claude,
I enjoy hearing from you and I have changed my email address, so please put my new one on your list.
Thanks, Patrick
What a Way to Learn: I was just over on the page where you pick the guy you want to learn from and I learned some things about music my teacher tried to teach me several years ago. What a Blast..
Did not get the first scale or part 1
Hey Jeff, here it´s http://ws1.guitarcontrol.com/blog/claude-johnson/theory-guitar-lesson-on-scales-how-to-play-guitar-scales/
To whom it may concern.i had ordered my free guitar 4-5 weeks ago. To date i have not received same. I had received a number to track this, but unfotunately has been misplaced. Any help you can afford., would be appreciated.. I wil be moving on the 29 th and would like to have this resolved. Thank you in advance, Gary.
Claude I have uncovered the one “secret” word that will make everyone an amazing guitar player. I don’t know if it will help you. I think you have already found it. Give me a shout sometime and I will let you in. Tip
Hey Claude,
I played bass guitar for more than thirty years, but the best tip I ever got about playing was from a classical guitarist who said to improve your left hand speed, lighten your touch. The same is true if you fingerpick: if you aren’t trying for a specific effect that involves the plucking the string real hard, pluck it as lightly as you can to achieve the volume and tone you want.
Do you have or recommend a sight like this for key boards?
Hi Jeff, I recommend you to check out this blog:

Why is it that each time you send me something, I can’t open the video?
Hey, you may have a problem in your web browser, please try with another one… Maybe you need to update your flash plugin or something.
Regards.
I love that you send mini lessons but most of the ones you send involve electric guitar and I only play an accoustic guitar and therefor I don’t listen because they don’t pertain to what I play, I love the acoustic one’s you send though
Claude – I’d really appreciate a mini-lesson on Can’t Fight This Feeling with an electric guitar – it’s my wife’s and my wedding song and it’s our anniversary coming up in a couple of weeks :)!!
Thank you in advance.
would you please recommend an accoustic guitar course (intermediate)
Hey Steve.
We have tons of great acoustic courses, I think this one is pretty cool:

Thanks,
Admin.
Do you have a Southern Gospel course available for “almost” beginners? I do not favor the tab scores of songs and have begun on the more “traditional” printed music for the acoustic guitar.
YES – GOSPEL GUITAR! http://www.gospelguitarcourse.com/main.php – CLAUDE
