Hey, how’s it going? My name is John McClennan [phonetic].
I’m here today with Guitar Control. I hope you guys are
doing fantastic and I wanted to bring you a lick today on
modern rock playing. And this is kind of a more modern
sounding line. We’re going to jump right into it.

It starts here on a G chord, and be sure to check the links
below for the tab. We’re going to start on the 8th fret and
pull-off to the 5th; then the 7th fret, 7th up top, where
I’m thinking of this kind of G major triad right there.
Just outlining that. Then sliding up, another slide and
then here I’m going to start on the root, thinking about
this chord. This is kind of Eric Johnson sounding.

What that is, is that’s the two fret, 12th, 14th. And then
12th up top, sliding down to the 10th, 12th, 10th, 12th.
Sliding back up to the 12th and then resolving to the note
B there, which is, again, the 3rd of G. Once again, slowly.

That’s a tough lick, but be sure to click the links below
and we’ll see you in the next video. Thank you.
