How to Play Carlos Santana’s Corazon Espinado

Hey, this is Matias Rengel with Guitar Control, I’m going to show you how to play one of Santana’s greatest song called “Corazon Espinado”. We’re going to take a look at “Corazon Espinado” by Santana. It’s an incredible solo and we play this at a slower speed.

pic

We start by dividing this Solo into many different parts, the first part, you’re going to place your fingers on the 5th string 9th fret, and then you go into the 7th fret of the 4th string, the 9th fret of the 4th string, 2nd fret of the 3rd string, 9th fret of the 4th string, 7th fret of the 4th string.

The next part were going to place your finger and play on the 7th fret of the 3rd, 2nd, and 1st string, and then you’re going to end up on the 6 of the 1st string. So you go 7, 7, 7, 6, 2nd string, now you go into this part, you’re going to the 9th fret of the 3rd string and then you bend this 9th fret.

For the next part we’re going to stay right there and then you go to the 3rd strings 9th fret. From the beginning we got there our 1st bar, now comes the second part it’s almost the same as an octave higher. On the 2nd string we go to the 7th fret and then on the 1st string 7th fret, 10th fret again and then you pull off then you move up to the 15th fret of the 2nd string and then you’re going to play the 14th fret of the 1st string then you go into the 17th fret and you bend it up.

This is really a complicated part so pay attention; watch the actual notes doing are right. So what I want you to do when you bend and you’re trying the 19th fret, you’re coming down and bending up to the 18th, then you play back the 14th fret and you go into a 2nd string and play 17, 15 and you bend up the 17th with your first finger on the 14th, actually you bend the 17th fret of the 2nd string and then you play the 4th fret and then repeating only that. So one you bend and you place it down and then you repeat it. And then we finish up on the second fret, 4th fret 15 fret, 13 fret and then again. So 17, 14, 15, 17, 15, and now we’re going to aspire which you do a hammer onto a 15th  from the 14th fret of the 2nd string and then pull off 16th  of the 3rd string.

That’s it super simple and a great solo, now you’re able to play this awesome solo by Santana it’s an incredible song.
